Simple and does a great job September 8, 2010

I have been using this scale everyday since the day I received it. I am a home coffee roaster and use it for measuring coffee. It does an excellent job. I would highly recommend this scale for someone looking for an accurate and simple kitchen scale. I have also ordered a bathroom scale from EatSmart, and they are about making great products. That is why I looked to them first when looking for a kitchen scale. Keep up the good work.

This kitchen scale is a big help when I have to weigh foods for my diet. It's easy to read and easy to use. You can easily switch from grams to ounces without reading an instruction manual. It can handle weights up to 11 lbs or as low as a few grams. It's easy to store because of its size. This takes the guess work out of any diet and any recipe. I'm really glad I ordered it. I was very pleased that it arrived right away and in perfect condition.

Perfect. Small enough to fit in a purse, large enough capacity to use in the kitchen. Only tiny criticism is that large plate do obscure the digital readout - but if if it going to be small enough to put in a purse - which was the reason I bought this scale to begin with I see no way around that.

This scale works exactly as expected -- the ability to "reset" it's reading to zero so as to discount the weight of a plate or other item already on the scale is a huge plus.
The only issue I've noticed after about a week of use is that the chrome scale portion (I got the black chrome) does seem to scratch lightly. No doubt that's because I've put various plates, bowls, etc on it to hold the items that I'm weighing and it definitely hasn't impacted the functionality of the unit, but it does mar the looks a bit.
Still, this is definitely a good scale and considering it's price is a great deal.

Since I am on Weight Watchers, I wanted a scale to help me with portion control. The scale is accurate. The price was excellent. The product is great for people on the program. I need accurate weight for food when I am calculating my points...Overall, a great product...Very pleased..
